Our cable network in Steyregg now has its first fiber customers! Our JM-DATA ADMIN has got a new layout and can now easily manage third-party devices with our ACS server.

The hardware range is expanded. Thus not only GEPON providers but also EDFA, laser providers. This means that cable network operators and FTTH providers can buy everything from a single source. Advantage: NO EXCUSES 🙂

JM-DATA is now also offering its own FTTH components GEPON under the name JM-DATA FIBER (JM-FIBER) JM-DATA is thus entering the hardware industry. (For a short time the product was called arrowFIBER, but was changed to JM-DATA FIBER)
2016
JM-DATA moves to Traun and from now on has the training center, logistics warehouse and office again at one location (A-4050 Traun, Hackl-Str. 1 / Object 2).
Furthermore, a completely new high-security data center is being built with HAKA kitchens.
Our CN-ADMIN will be changed to the name JM-DATA ADMIN. This means that all products are labeled with JM-DATA on the front.

JM-DATA launches the new CN-ADMIN – Dragon Mountain version.

JM-DATA has taken over the Kapellen cable network.
2013
JM-DATA founds the company “JAnetz GmbH” with Mr. Andreas Kadlec in order to be able to offer the end customers an even more professional support.
In that year the cable network Neuberg an der MĂĽrz was taken over.
2012
JM-DATA brings DOCSIS 3.0 into cable networks.
2011
Due to the constantly growing investments, the operational business was outsourced to JM-DATA Telekom GmbH. JM-DATA GmbH will remain as an umbrella company. The development of our core software “CN-ADMIN” was relocated to Greece in order to be able to serve the eastern market more intensively
2010
A new business area is a DOCSIS modem / router / wireless test system that can test all of these devices in one operation. The first customer is the Synerlogis company in Hamburg.
JM-DATA gets its first customer in Bosnia and thus the CN-ADMIN is represented in over 10 countries.
JM-DATA founds a new company in Greece to offer everything from 0 to cable TV, internet and telephone. – “HCN – Hellenic Cable Networks”
2009
JM-DATA gets its first customer in Cameroon (Africa) (Creolink Communication). The Steyregg cable network will be taken over in January 2009. Subsidiary AICALL takes a majority stake in Kabel-TV Braunau GmbH – the largest cable operator in the Innviertel.
2008
JM-DATA gets its first customer in Vietnam. JM-DATA, owner Jürgen Meixner, is also renamed JM-DATA GmbH. On June 1, 2008, JM-DATA took over the Raab cable system from Expert Wasmeir. From July 20th, 2008 to March 2010, JM-DATA sponsored the LASK VIP Club “JM-DATA Business Club”.
2007
JM-DATA gets its first customer in Serbia.
On November 1, 2007, JM-DATA took over the Wartberg an der Krems cable system from EP: Alois Kremsmair.
2006
On January 10, 2006, the telephony department was outsourced to AICALL Telekommunikations-Dienstleistungs GmbH. Www.aicall.at
The CN-ADMIN has also been renewed and is now also being delivered with the Solaris operating system for the first time. JM-DATA is also entering into a stronger partnership with SUN and can thus provide customers with even more performance.

JM-DATA gets its first customer in Switzerland.

Expansion of our offer to include PacketCable digital telephony. From now on it is possible for cable customers to make calls in the cable network with the usual fixed network voice quality. (as with Telekom Austria AG),
JM-DATA gets its first customer in Macedonia and Slovakia.

Expansion of our offer to include SIP telephony. From now on our customers and our partners can use and experience this interesting and inexpensive product VOIP via cable television.
We have also redesigned the CN-ADMIN in terms of software and are now available – an indispensable tool for cable operators!

Expansion of own infrastructure throughout Austria. From now on it is possible for us to offer high-speed internet connections at an even lower price.
Since our office on Petzoldstrasse became too small, we moved to Lederergasse 34, A-4020 Linz. At our new location, we offer you the option of setting up your servers in our new Server Housing Center. With the usual JM-DATA quality, of course!

From now on we can offer you as a business customer or cable operator Internet connections or location networks throughout Austria.
This is accomplished through cooperation with several Internet service providers and line providers. This means that we have more than 42 access points available throughout Austria. This saves you costs and gives you the opportunity to have a contact person for all your IT questions.

With Normann Engineering, JM-DATA is developing a concept for cable operators, which has the task of enabling you as a cable operator to offer your customers the Internet via your HF network. This is constantly being developed, as the services with which you can earn money are constantly increasing (e.g. game servers, shop systems, etc.).

“Linux goes to workstation” – JM-DATA can now also offer inexpensive Linux solutions in your company on workstation PCs. This makes IT administration a lot easier and helps you as an entrepreneur to save money!
1998
The company was founded by JĂĽrgen Meixner on April 1st, 1998. The business field was support and programming of homepages with database connections. This concept was then quickly expanded to include support for RedHat Linux servers.
